Shocking customer support. Filed a complaint with the Hungarian Govmt Dept but received a reply that there was no action to be taken. Has anyone tried a complaint with their country's Trading Standards?
Absolutely useless junk.
Doesn't recognise any USB devices out of the 15 or so I tried and their "help" have the audacity to say it's the device's fault.
Bought updated maps and live in Wales, maps are out of date and don't show the county towns of Pembrokeshire and Carmarthenshire. Naviextras don't want to know and now I'm in a worse position than I was with maps before I updated! Avoi d at all costs
Naviextras - new update STILL has missing roads ... roads that were completed OVER 10 YEARS ago. So WHY would any (other) moron buy this outdated garbage? Do NOT do it. If it says "Jenson" on your radio/GPS device. Run!
Asa Electronics referred me to NaviExtras, the phone number is disconnected, could not find any phone number period, plus my Jensen model doesn't show on their list, I don't do business with a company that operates like this
Paid £97 for update on my Jaguar xf sat nav about 2 months ago. Tried to put in a post code for my destination, the sat nav wouldn't accept, showing non existent. But shown up in Google maps on my phone.
Wasted my money... wouldn't recommend this company.
If I had known when updating my navigation system for CAD $120 that there essentially would be NO update to the system, I would not have downloaded the update. It’s a very sneaky way for a third-party of a third-party (from Hungary) to make money for absolutely nothing by using inaccurate North America map information and calling it an update.
A lesson learned. From heron in, I’ll simply ignore update emails. I will not make this mistake again. I’m not impressed with your GPS update service. It reflects SO poorly on Mazda. It’s nothing more than a cash-grab for some mystery third-party. And, I’ll make sure to mention it on social media so others are not duped into spending money for nothing, too. Even a 1-star rating is too much.
This a disgraceful company. A complete rip off. Trying to sell maps that are 2 - 3 years out of date at full price. Customer service staff are rude and arrogant. This company is disgusting and no gps company should let them sell their maps. Thank god for google maps better than these idiots.
This is a terrible company. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM!!!
I wished I read these reviews before I purchased nearly $300 of worthless Map Navigation software from them.
I installed their ToolBox and updated my 2015 Subaru Outback navigation -- it FAILED and ruined my SD card
Ordered an SD card from them with the navigation software pre-loaded.
The 2021 navigation software had nearly all the exits on the highway wrong.
I called support and they directed me to a website which asked me to go into their maps and fix all the street names and exit information that I found was wrong -- WOW
I'm hoping the dealership can help me at least restore the old Navigation software.
If Naviextras wants to reply -- I have the entire email trial plus a video in my car showing their Terrible product in action!!!
New toolbox for Windows and finally for Mac but no way to complete download- after 40-60% is downloaded application freezing and show errors only. Even is difficult to log in as application crash regularly, so you need to be very calm. I try on Windows 10 and Mac running High Sierra- crashes and errors only. Useless!!!
